The Halloween spirit is upon us and here at concept cookie we excited to announce a contest to reflect that. This contest will be the first in a line of tradition on creating a modern concept take on traditional halloween icons, such as werewolves, zombies, witches, mummies, ghosts, frankenstein, etc.

But for this concept contest, we are taking a look at VAMPIRES.

I have always been fascinated by the folklore on vampires and the surrounding aura that comes alongside them. The subject matter has been romanticized within the past few years and I would like to see a different take on a modern vampire. I am inspired from the classic tales of Dracula, and Nosferatu to the more modern ones of “Let the Right one in”.

So here is your chance to take your own look at what a modern vampire concept should look like among your fellow cookie community! Create a vampire concept that would exist in a modern day setting. This can be fantastical or set in the world we live in. Age is not a concern and you are not limited to any factor besides keeping the subject a vampire!

+ RULES

- Submit your Vampire entry by 6pm on October 30th (-6 GMT time)
- The winners will be announced on Halloween, October 31st.
- Has to be your own work, concept, and line-art
- Submit your entry correctly by following the guidelines below
- Have your work correctly represent the topic
- Explore your creativity and treat this as if you were a concept artist receiving the task. You want to express your originality in these guidelines to the best of your ability
- Have fun with it!

+ HOW TO SUBMIT ENTRIES

- Submit your .jpg image entry through Concept Cookie’s Gallery with a “finished” status directly on this page.
- Have it be easily recognized as a contest entry, putting the word “contest” in the title would be more than helpful
- I will take these submissions and post them on the facebook page for the community to vote on their favorites by clicking “like” on their favorites.

+ JUDGING

The judging will take place by the in house CGCookie Crew.

We will be judging the submissions based on the following material
- did the submission follow the rules that were set
- the overall quality, creativity and execution.
- what we believe was the best take on the contest subject.

+ CONTEST PRIZES

The contest prizes will also include the badges on that artist’s page. The cash prizes can be send via Paypal or may be used as a donation to the winners favorite online charity.
